नेपाली साहित्य समाज, क्यानडा (नेसास, क्यानडा) सन् २००४ देखि नेपाली साहित्यको उन्नयनमा समर्पित, क्यानडाको संघीय सरकार अन्तर्गत विधिवत् दर्ता भएको एउटा ऐतिहासिक संस्था हो। क्यानेडियन नेपाली साहित्यको परिदृश्यमा यो समाजले नेपाली साहित्य प्रेमीको नेपाली भाषा साहित्य प्रतिको प्रगाढ स्नेह र उनीहरुका सृजनात्मक प्रयत्नहरुको सगौरव मलजल गर्दै आएको छ। विगतका वर्षहरुमा, नेसास क्यानडाले क्यानेडियन नेपाली सर्जकहरुलाई उनीहरुका कलात्मक आकांक्षाहरुका अभिव्यक्तिका लागि आवस्यक मञ्च प्रदान गर्ने महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह गर्दै आएको छ। हरेक वर्ष यो समाजले कविता वाचन, साहित्यिक कृतिहरुको अनावरण, सृजनात्मक लेखनका उल्लेखनीय व्यक्तित्त्वहरुको सम्मान जस्ता विविध कार्यक्रमको आयोजना गर्ने गर्छ। यी र यस्ता साहित्यिक गतिविधिहरु प्रायजसो नेपाली साहित्यका विशेष दिनहरु जस्तै भानु जयन्ती, लक्ष्मी जयन्ती, मोती जयन्ती, सरस्वती पूजा आदि अवसरमा गर्ने गरिन्छ। नेसासले भर्चुअल प्लेटफर्महरुको उपयोग गरेर क्यानडाका सबै प्रान्तहरुका कवि तथा लेखकहरुलाई जोड्दै साहित्यिक गतिविधिहरुको पहुँच क्यानडाव्यापी बनाएको छ। यसका अतिरिक्त, समाज क्यानडाका नेपाली सर्जकहरुका सिर्जनाहरुलाई संकलन, प्रकाशन र डिजिटल आर्काइभमा सुरक्षित राख्ने कार्यमा पनि सक्रिय रुपमा संलग्न छ। साहित्यको क्षेत्रमा समाजले दैनन्दिन गर्ने प्रयासहरुको जानकारी दिंदै एउटा साहित्यिक सामग्रीहरुको वृहत्तर श्रोत उपलब्ध गराउने समाजको उदेश्यलाई यो वेबसाइटले पूरा गर्ने विस्वास छ। नेसास क्यानडा देशका विभिन्न स्थानहरुमा भएका नेपाली साहित्यका अभिव्यक्तिको जिवन्त कलाकर्मको बढोत्तरीको कोशिसमा लाग्दै गर्दा सम्पूर्ण उत्साही नेपाली साहित्य प्रेमी समुदायको न्यानो सद्भाव, सुझाव र सहयोगलाई स्वागत गर्दछ।
Nepali Sahitya Samaj Canada (NSSC), officially registered with the Canadian Federal Government, has been dedicated to the advancement of Nepali literature since its inception in 2004. With a rich history deeply rooted in the Canadian Nepali literary landscape, the society has proudly fostered the creative endeavors and profound affection for the Nepali language and literature among its members. Over the years, NSSC has played a pivotal role in providing a platform for Canadian Nepali writers to express their artistic aspirations. The society annually organizes a spectrum of literary events, including poetry recitals, the launch of literary publications, and the recognition of noteworthy figures in the realm of creative writing. These events coincide with special days in Nepali literature, such as Bhanu Jayanti (celebrating the birthday of the father of Nepali literature, Bhanubhakta Acharya), Laxmi Jayanti (honoring the Great Poet of Nepali literature, Laxmi Prasad Devkota), Moti Jayanti (commemorating the birthday of another esteemed poet, Moti Ram Bhatta), and Saraswati Pooja (dedicated to the worship of the Goddess of Learning). Expanding its reach nationwide, NSSC has embraced virtual platforms to host literary events, fostering connections with writers and poets from all Canadian provinces.
